I read her diary when I was twelve. I have never recovered from the grief of discovering how evil people can be. Since then I have always tried to speak up against racism and the far right. She was a beautiful human being.

I went to Amsterdam on New Years Eve on a bus trip from Germany. I enjoyed seeing Ann Frank's place, it was a sad experience.
