If anyone is interested, Robert Munsch wrote a great book called "a Promise is a Promise" which tells the story of a young girl getting into trouble with these creatures. It's a kids book but definitely worth a look, it has beautiful illustrations as well.

I’m Inuit and this has been passed down to our people for a generation after generation, the story goes so that we wouldn’t be by the flow edge jumping on ice or else fall into the Icy waters and possibly drown.

FrozenWrestler73653, I was able to answer this question correctly because my kids had this book. I recommend Robert Munsch to all parents of young children.

It’s interesting how diverse and isolated cultures all have their demons smelling of sulphur. A commonality based on a grain of truth?
