the smallest humming bird is from the region of Santiago the Cuba and the largest is in central Mexico.... there are different ones throughout the American Continent (south central and north) and it is a pleasure to see them

The Desert Museum, located just outside of Tucson, has a large hummingbird exhibit. Just sitting and watching them flit around is amazing and so relaxing. When some of us noticed a pair of hummingbirds was building a nest, the people who monitor the exhibit came over to see what we were watching. Then they asked us to leave so the birds would not be disturbed.
