The definition of the word "paradox" is something that defies logic. What defies logic in this case is that someone can travel in time.

Here's the problem with this "paradox" thing: For lack of a more accurate description, let's call it "reality/truth". That is, a fact that is unchanged NO MATTER what anyone/everyone believes. For example, the existence of God. It doesn't matter what anyone/everyone believes, the truth of the matter will remain unchanged. The same is true for the Grandfather paradox. IF the Grandfather exists in any way at all to begin with, nothing will change that. For example, the Grandson who went back in time for the purpose of killing said Grandfather will instead be prevented from committing the act of ending the Grandfather's life.
