Where are the Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas) located?

I will never know why the spannish and Portuguese colonists presume that they have the right to these islands anymore than we do if anything all lands should belong to the indigenous people but where would we all be then Britain has certainly had a good few invaders Roman, angle saxons, Norman's. So get used to it Argentina.

luckycatfay, the islands lie North of the Antarctic and so have some sort of claim privilege to any exploitation of minerals etc
