The plane was built by Ryan Aircraft in San Diego which is the reason for the naming of the San Diego airport as Lindbergh Field.

It's hanging in the Air & Space museum in Washington DC. I saw it a few years back. It's such a small and rudimentary plane. It's a miracle he made it across the Atlantic. I would suggest to anyone visiting that museum. If you're into airplane history, it's a must.
