Who first introduced the terms "introversion" and "extraversion" into psychology?

I wish I was an extrovert. It would make life a lot easier. I have one friend and she lives overseas.

I once meet a beautiful, and most uniquely intelligent girl in November 1998 who within ten minutes of meeting me, defined me as an "ambivert" at the time. Wow!! did I live to regret her not becoming more of my life - because I was only temporarily visiting New York at the time, but few people I've met since have left anywhere near as much of an impression upon me in so short at time as she did.
