Player #4821096, I was dead for just over eight minutes. Won't call it a resurrection, but a mighty fine resuscitation.

Felipe, That's because its actually a pagan fertility ritual that has absolutely nothing to do with Christ.

There are many things the Catholic church does that Protestants disagree with. The first Christians were Jews who followed what Jesus told them. I stopped believing in rabbits Easter eggs and all that when I was a kid.

Player #4821096, Jesus Christ is God the Son who came to earth and lived as a man. His miracles proved He was who He said He was - He was not just a "human". By the way, lent, 40 days of fasting, etc. are not Biblical, but are things introduced by the Catholic denomination (which is NOT the church of the New Testament).

Jesus died on a date and dates fall on different days. He died on the the day of the Passover- Nisan 14 of the Jewish calendar. Easter actually commemorates the Goddess of Fertility hence the easter eggs. It is steep in ritual and pagan worship, not christianity at all.
