Enjoyed this show as a kid as well as ALL the old Westerns. The Lone Ranger and many others can still be seen on television. Long live the old Westerns.

Roma, yes. Tonto was my favorite character...because of his care for another human - no matter who - and was a man of quick action and few words. I am now bit amazed that I recognized these traits as admirable even as a child.

The Scuttlebutt has it that "The Lone Ranger" was inspired by & based on a American African Lawman, Bass Reeves. His story is truly awe inspiring. Integrity should be this man's middle name. It is too bad most people do not know of him.
