Hmmm... well strictly speaking you are correct - the wulver is mythical and Scottish, but it's a relatively recent invention from the Shetland Islands and not at all a creature from Scottish mythology. I mean I do realise that all mythological creatures are made up, but this ain't traditional. Also, Shetland is a long way from most of Scotland and it's traditions aren't widely known to most people, even if this was one, which it isn't.
