Can you name the acid found in sour milk products?
Correct answer: Lactic Acid
MindTreat

HIPPIE CHICKEN
MindTreat, I know, right? I got it wrong even though I thought Lactic Acid sounded correct!
RushMama2112
Being lactose intolerant I buy lactose-free milk. It lasts over a month in the fridge because there's no lactic acid to sour it. Nice perk considering the price.

I'm OK with milk. Raised on it & love it. Just lucky, I guess. Slice of chocolate cake & glass of ice cold milk. Can't beat it. Yum!
Nannad
I saw the answer none of them and clicked just as I saw Lactic acid 🙄

RushMama2112, am allergic to milk, so lactose-free makes no difference. Since I can't have soy or tree nuts either I discovered oat milk, which is pretty good & not horribly expensive.

Apparently, even though there isn't any strong evidence to support the theory, but Lactic acid is produced by Athletes when racing, thus making them tie-up in the home straight on the Athletics track.
Nutshell
I'm currently wearing a shirt made out of milk... and it's actually one of the softest and most comfortable t-shirts I own.
(Look up the process, it's actually quite interesting... although I might not have bought it if I'd read the label.)

Player SQinfoNUTS, not always. sometimes the picture is misleading
Pchblsom
I can’t drink milk, however I make my own kefir and have no problem because the kefir grain digest the lactic acid.

Lactose-free fat free milk tastes so much better than regular fat free.
