i got to meet him once in 1990, the college i went to, East Los Angeles Jr. college in Monterey Park, Ca, had a small art gallery and he lent a lot of his art work to the college. He was a very sweet man and kind to do that for our little college. he came to visit the campus many times.... i have always liked his movies. i think his last movie was Edward Scissor hands...

Vincent Price is my very favorite actor. I own so many of his movies. A lesser known movie called “ Dragonwyck” is my favorite. He was so sauve , young, and handsome in that one. Filmed back in 1946. His horror was always atmospheric . A certain brand that doesn’t exist anymore. I have always loved the sound of his voice.

He was my favorite scary movie actor. RIP, Mr. Price. We miss u and ur Super Duper scary voice and demonic laugh. He had a spine-tingling laugh that instantly grabbed ur attention and left ur hair standing up on the back of ur neck.

I adore Vincent Price. As a child growing up in The South Bronx, I watched all his scary movies, but there was a part of me that just knew he was kind-hearted. I recall saying to my mom, I wish you had married him and he was my daddy. Years later I read his daughter's book and smiled when she said he WAS a great dad. I knew it! I almost met him too. I entered a poetry contest and he chose one of my poems. He was supposed to hand me a paper certificate but I had to take a plane to CA and as a teen barely surving in the South Bronx I just didn't have the financial means to get there but they sent it to me with his photo which I still have.
