I hear she straightened her life out. parents look so much for the fame and fortune they neglect the love and teaching the child How to handle the celebrity aspect. it's more important to let a kid be a kid. adulthood comes soon enough!!

KookyOrangutan5005, I do not see Miley as a mess-up. She still makes music and was a judge on Voice. She just seems unique and enjoys shock value. While this young person is in and out of jail and treatment. She has not done 1 thing productive in years. I feel very sorry for her. I do not think she has ever had 1 solid trustworthy person to guide and love her. She was used for mobey. When she was no longer popular, bringing in money, she was probably abandoned by everyone and her new world must have felt so dark and alone, and without any kind of road map. Who among us could experienced of what she probably has and do much better? Don't judge a person unless you have walked in their moccasins. It is always easy being a Monday morning quarterback.

She had such talent but drugs and alcohol have destroyed her career and reputation. Such a shame!

10bwc, Me too. I understand that others may not feel the same, but whenever a movie is remade after many years I can not think of any that I value more than the original. An exception may regard the music or possibly Special Effects. Although, as crude as SFx were in the original "King Kong", it feels more riveting.

Like most child stars, when they get older.....a huge train reck!!!! How can a cute famous child, who is constantly catered to and treated like someone extra special, grow up (at least according to the calandar) and no longer so cute and suddenly dumped and ignored, possibly adjust to being average like most of us. The child would need a firm ground away from the stage, camera, and reporters. Apparently, it can be done. The number one child star of all time, Shirley Temple, grew up and was never a train wreck. She divorced once, had a second marriage, dabbled a little on tv, and then became a long time Ambassador. How is that for adjusting to no longer being a blond curled, dimpled cherub?
