evidence smith, YHWH is called the Tetragrammaton. It is four Hebrew consonants. The vowels were added by later translators in order to pronounce the Name of God. So God is sometimes called Yahweh or also Jehovah.

If God exists (and I do believe He does), what's wrong with living a good life being helpful to people and knowing you are loved by the very creator who made you? if I'm wrong, then I've lived a good, anxiety-free life with peace and joy even when life gets horrible. So no harm; no foul. If you like movies, I recommend "The Case for Christ". This proves Jesus is real and that He is nothing less than God.

That came about from being filtered through other cultures. If you see the Messianic, or just listen to Hebrew..you will see this.
Isaiah in Hebrew is Yesha'Yahu. The "Y" is like an "I"
YHWH is not pronounced Jehovah but comes out more aligned with your breath.
Try it "Ee-ow-ah". Then you're more accurate.

OssifiedDuck29101, Jesus was never given the privilege of listening to our prayers. That is only thru his (Jesus) name we can come to the Father. Jehovah is the hearer of prayer. Then we close in the name of Jesus before saying amen. Amen mens so be it. we are all imperfect but Jesus paid for our sins so that we may have a relationship with Jehovah. So we ask to come into His presence thru Jesus and when closing in Jesus name.
