I was sure it would have to be the scull for the scull has to protect the brain. I understand though why the femurs would be so strong, when it comes to how much weight our femurs actually can support. I mean over weight people can still walk carrying ex amount of weight that actually sounds in some cases not humanly possible for a bone structure to even carry like about ummm 400 pounds.

KookyOrangutan5005, they usually breal the tibia or fibia (the bones in the lower leg). it takes extreme force to break a femur.

Actually, technically, the strongest bone is the Tibia, as it’s difficult to fracture, but Femur is longest.

Dianna Bella74, also, the easier the femur would be to break, the more vulnerable the femoral artery would be to laceration by the jagged edges of the broken femur, so the more vulnerable we would be to bleeding to death.

I'm not so sure about this answer. The femur is the longest but we have been told that the skull, especially, the forehead, is really tough. In self-defense, we were taught that we can break a nose with our head.

ElenaLaLoca, yes - such as being struck by a fist-size piece of delrin thrown from a lathe at about 1800fps. Knocks your leg right out from under you.
