In which way are dogs far superior to humans?

imo dogs are far superior to humans in a lot more ways then just smell.

Not only sense of smell, they are sensitive even hearing, my old dog knew the sound of my vehicle at far away distance. Amazing creature.

I love dogs ... they can also hear better , can understand us by the tone in are voice and can tell when we are sad or happy
