The problem is not fossil fuels. It is the number of people burning fossil fuels. POPULATION! And none of the climate fanatics want to even mention or address that one.

Player #77118933, The trouble is, once a theory gathers momentum, no-one can challenge it. No journal will print it, no other scientists back it,, no university allow a scientist to offer a refutation. There is no ' democracy' in science. No independent scientists. They are either paid by the government ( even if through academic funding), or by commercial interests. The latter want to make money, the former wants to continue to _be_ the government ( and not become the Opposition.) But they make it impossible to even challenge the theories that vested interests find it currently suits them to promote.

before the last ice age the ocean level was20 feet lower and the ice age before that it was 500 feet higher,so it's just "normal" for oceans to fluctuate ,if the sea levels go down to much more of evaporated water will start becoming glaciers and another ice age will start, nothing else speeds this up or slows this down in geological ages!
