PEPPER 520, I have lived minutes away from the Chickumaga battlefield my whole life and it is also the most screwed up paranormal hotspots I've ever seen soliders walking down the "downtown" area I have no doubt Gettysburg is extremely haunted bit no one has ever investigated Chickumaga and they seriously need to check out green eyes and all the other stuff

Does this total also include civilian casualties? There was 1 women killed in Gettysburg, and the bullet holes are still in her home. I used to give tours there. Great place to go for visit, or move to.

It saddens me to know that to most people these casualties will only ever be viewed as numbers and nothing more. They were many men who died doing what they in their hearts felt was right and believed that God was on their side. War just breaks my heart period.

DPC, It started over not wanting to give our bank power back to Britain! Slavery was added the last year. I would like to think slavery was added for good reasons. And on the long run, it was. BUT for what I know about the US and my own Native heritage, I just doubt it. I think it was more about getting more bodies to fight on the Union side. That's what my grandpa always said that his dad said, and his dad said, etc. and I'm inclined to believe it. They still don't care. We are all equally cash cows now.
