Which city is the capital of Catalonia?

I live in Tarragona! A laid back city with beaches as beautiful as Barcelona!

Easy question, Cordoba is located in autonomous region Andalusia. Btw, Barcelona is great city, no wonder why is more visited by foreign tourists than capital Madrid.

I'm always struck by how colorful so many of these cities or even humble villages are in some countries are. I haven't traveled over all of the US by any means, but it seems more monochrome. I imagine if you wanted a bright orange building or house, the neighbors might object.
