michael oher sued because money issues...not sure but his adopted parents got most of his money. like they invested alot of money and time in michael.... they wanted their money back. and he did not liked the movie. also not all minority kids grows up to be famous if this is the reason adoption is up for people adopting those race of kids...God I hope not.

WindyJunction1, What's new? Movies are for entertainment. If they don't entertain, they don't sell. If they don't sell, nobody gets an Oscar. Our said he already knew how to play football. His family watched weekly, just like the rest of us. The tough work was done in his study times. Kids who have unstable homes and indifferent, overcrowded schooling have a lot of hard work to do to catch up. But it is possible WITH GOOD HELP!

It was truly an exceptionally excellent movie! Based on a true story of Michael Oher. This was by far Sandra Bullock's best performance. Michael Oher's life did make an impact on many peoples lives who saw the film.
