I heard that farmers give cows antibiotics, so they can constantly produce milk, they have to get pregnant, during pregnancy they can get mastitis so they give them antibiotics to prevent this, so when we have milk and beef it’s still got the antibiotics in the system and that’s why we’ve become immune to them not due to being over prescribed
