A guy I went to High School with in the 70's got the idea in 1980 that he could pole vault over the wall. Tom Hintnaus got stuck and had to crawl the rest of the way up to the top. He later became a Calvin Klein underwear model, and women were stealing posters of him in different parts of the country. Sounds crazy, but it's true, you can look it up!

Most of it is in ruins, only certain parts have been rebuilt for tourism. I just saw it a few months ago. Impressive!
