Player #7719043, Octavius was adopted by Julius Caesar, at which point he became known as Octavian. After inheriting Caesar's wealth and armies (at eighteen!), he ultimately defeated his adversaries (Marc Antony being the final one). As the first emperor of Rome, his name was changed to Caesar Augustus. All the same individual. I missed Octavianus as well. I can't remember when he went by that name. Also, it was Octavian's victory over Antony that marked the beginning of the Pax Romana. Civil war was over when Octavian (Augustus) came to power, not before.
