How much was a guinea worth in the British pre-decimal currency?
Correct answer: Twenty-one shillings

new info for me.thanks

Tom
I have looked at these currency things several times. Nearly every time I read Dickens. In the Victorian era 21 shillings is right. But as the a guinea was related to gold price, and pounds and shillings were related to silver, things are hard to keep track.

GruffSecretAgent9936, I hate questions that have more than one answer that is correct but because of the wording of the question only one is actually correct, makes for too confusing of a question!

Changing a system is always confusing to people who adapt
more slowly regardless of what it is. That is why we are resistant to changes in our life when we become set in our ways.

Well ...logically thinking when it says "pre-decimel" currency then the first two answers are out anyway so after you get a good fifty-fitfy chance
