When bad people continue to be praised & given more power, it can only continue to create a monster as a consequence.

So socialism (communism) bad capitalism good or so the media seem to be representing with their very biased agenda in this current global climate. I certainly can see how it’s been extremely erroneous & caustic to a democratic society’s moral fabric though on the other hand capitalism & consumerism parasitises until there is nothing left in some cases & is the undercurrent of corruption & the destitution of many underprivileged countries that have been taken advantage of. I wish human beings had a happy medium between the two where we could share this world harmoniously no matter who we are, what we believe & where we are from.

* Seshati *, it's the belief that all socialism is communism that I don't understand. Socialism to me is caring for the less fortunate in society.

The last line of the first paragraph: "... A cease-fire in the Korean War was signed on July 27, 1953." That's wrong, it was an armistice treaty. (Also, an armistice treaty is not equal to a peace treaty. So technically, South Korea and North Korea are at war to this day)
