The River Irwell flows through which of these British cities?

A lot of our rivers were heavily polluted by industrial waste, including the Thames, but were cleaned up really well in the late 20th century. What a pity it is that so many of them are now heavily polluted again because of the sewage that the water companies have been dumping into them.
