Wow...that would be so awesome to achieve hiking the entire trail. its a beautiful area. i live in California and we have the Pacific Crest Trail. Same type extending through Cali and Oregon not sure if it goes into Washington. I am stunned that I am the first to comment when I read some of the comments about rediculous things and there are like 20 people chiming in about nothing. To be one with nature and make a hike like this would be amazing and if I was younger and in the right shape would definately do it!

I hiked it for a week in college with some friends. Beautiful scenery and my first bear encounter. Luckily the bear was not aggressive.

My ex-husband was born & raised in Maine. He and his 4 brothers have hiked to the top of Mt Katahdin several times, last year my son was able as well. beautiful pics!
