DiamondGirl98
One of my very favorite movies. I miss the older actors. So many are no longer with us. They possessed grace and class that seems to be missing from Hollywood today. At least they left behind a body of work that's unsurpassed. They gave us so much to enjoy.
PlayDollHouse
I have never seen any of these films but I will now.

Great Actor, Great Movie, Class Act and easy on the eyes. Actors born in the 20's,30's, 40's and some in the 50's way more classier, better work ethic than the ones now 40 and younger. I prefer watching the Class Acts daily If
I can find them.
Pio of Pietrelcina
Gregory Peck was brilliant in the movie "The Scarlet and the Black"

I teach this every year with my 9th graders. The book is tremendous in so many ways. Do I flinch every time my eyes see the “n” word? Yes. You’re supposed to. It takes place in the early 1930’s in Alabama so that language was common. Is it a “white savior” story? No. Atticus fails to save Tom. The 2 biggest heroes are Boo and Tom. But how Atticus treats everyone (even Mrs. Dubose) says a lot about humanity. Gregory Peck was BORN to play Atticus. Harper Lee even gave him her father’s watch because of his performance. Great screenplay by Foote, and Elmer Bernstein’s music was some of the best ever. ❤️

He was great in one of my favs, Roman Holiday with Audrey Hepburn (her first staring role) was aired in the early 50’s. Love both performances along with other up and coming actors.
