My dad served alongside a Gurkha regiment in India and he said they were amazing. Totally fearless.

myth says their blade must draw blood before it is cleaned so they knick their arms with it. But I recently spoke to 2 Gurkhas. they said the original blade is kept in a temple. This one has to draw blood once a yr. then cleaned in a ceremony.
