Queen Esther, Eating carrots does not help vision. That was 'mis-information' spread by Britain in WWII. They didn't want the Germans to suspect they had invented something (in this case, radar) so put it about that RAF pilots were made to eat lots of carrots to improve their sight. I never heard if the Germans believed it, but it remains a current mis-belief in Britain, 80 years later..
