What do you call food cooked over an open flame, often outdoors?

I don't think I've ever met anyone who doesn't enjoy food prepared this way. Probably my favorite way to prepare not just meat and seafood, but vegetables as well.

Okay guys. Best dessert for a barbecue. Here it goes! Cut a pineapple in half, and each half cut into thinner (but not too thin) slices. Coat the slices in cinamon and sugar and then grill them. Best thing you'll ever have! Trust me on this.
