I grew up with train tracks right across the street from my house as a kid in Manhattan Beach, CA. They've been removed and the route is now a running path. I'm sure many folks who now reside there have no idea a train used to run through town. Hobos used to jump the train, under Pacific Coast Highway at "hobo bridge".
