mm, Burma has had 75 years of civil war which is still happening today, longer than any other country. There military still rules and are constantly murdering and enslaving men, women and children in ethnic villages. Watch the Doco/Movie Free Burma Rangers.

It's difficult to find the perfect name for a country and city. You can't expect them to name a thing then it would be fine all the time. Just like some people name their children but in later age, the children wanted to change their name legally

this country did not change its name! The country was already called Myanmar, but not nice enough for the West. Hence, it was anglicised. It is only reverting back to its original name. Other countries are following suit e.g places in India such as Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru etc
