Who was the first Scottish born chef to win three Michelin stars?
Correct answer: Gordon Ramsay

HOTCAT, I agree! I think most notable chefs must have to have extraordinarily large egos to survive in their world. There's nothing glamorous about working in a horribly hot kitchen with people screaming at you.

AmLilly1987
excellent chef id love to try some of his cooking

GrandmaTanya
nimblemoon, I totally agree. I watch a show called Below Deck and most of the chefs on the yachts are very high strung. I would have to specialize in comfort food! lol

mommyto6blondies
I love Gordon Ramsey!!

adams101313
how can you judge someone you don't even know. not everyone is their tv personality, plus lots of chefs are tough. i was told I couldn't have a family and be a chef when I was young and silly enough to believe it. I chose family. I still absolutely love cooking. it is a tough industry.

Gordon Antony Ramsey actually signed a 4 year contract with Celtic rovers in 1986 ,but due to bad eyesight and a knee ligament strain he chose a different career in Catering and hospitality before going for it as a celebrity Chef.

HOTCAT, how nice to have met him.

I used to be a chef, hated being shouted at and the sous and head chefs can sometimes be vindictive if they don't like you
