Contrary to popular belief we don’t have Mothers Day in the UK .
Our celebration of the contribution to family life by mothers is correctly called Mothering Sunday.
I doubt any mother anywhere would believe that this day or any other is actually a holiday from the skill and art of Mothering.

ATS, Well,that's a yes and a no. Every Holiday is commercialized on 1 way or another. I know my Sweet Late Mama needed that day.to feel loved and nurtured and appreciated for all the things they did , you have to remember some of our mothers went hungry, just so her children could eat.
