Leonard Nimoy was a true Renaissance man. His main occupation was as an actor, which he was very successful at. But his avocations were numerous. He was an accomplished writer, artist, poet and photographer. All of which he was very successful at, so much so, that if he wanted to he could have easily become any one of those and it would have paid him a very handsome living to do. Leonard Nimoy was made for the role of Mr. Spock, the fit was serendipitous, as whomever chose him for that role was thinking far ahead of the time in which the 'original' series ran. He was truly a gentleman and a scholar, gifted and personable, while being humble for the break he recieved in obtaining the role of Mr. Spock.

But the measure of a man is whether he's been on Columbo. Nimoy made a wonderful bad guy.

Ken, COPD is either emphysema or chronic bronchitis. It's in the lungs, hence the use of the word "pulmonary."

As a photographer, he did a series on women of different body types with the sole intention of celebrating them & countering the message of the one body type, body shaming beauty culture. That's a true man!
