In the 70's I had a friend who worked at the local McDonalds, and stated that they knew they were ready to serve when the batter covered filet would float up to the top of the oil in the fryer. We then gave them the name the "fish float"!

l am well aware of the HALF slice of cheese. With all the money they make they are too cheap to give you a regular slice of cheese.
