Catholics abstain from eating meat on Fridays of Lent as a symbol of solidarity. According to Pope Francis, it’s not supposed to be a seafood feast. I tried a Fillet-o-fish once, and I think Pope Leo would agree, we’re not intended to suffer needlessly. Burgerville and Arby’s have some great Lenten options. 👍

Yana, if I have McDonald’s I will have a big mac. 2 slices of cheese I think.

I am well aware of the half slice of cheese. With all the money they make they are too cheap to give you a rehear slice of cheese.

In the 70's I had a friend who worked at the local McDonalds, and stated that they knew they were ready to serve when the batter covered filet would float up to the top of the oil in the fryer. We then gave them the name the "fish float"!
