Vedansh Deewan, I watch a marvellous UK series called Monkey World, about a rescue centre in Devon. A chimp had a complex eye problem and the vet brought in a human eye consultant for advice. He was amazed that apart from the "white" part being brown, it was absolutely identical to a human eye, and he was able to fix the problem. But then we share 98% of our DNA with chimps. Yet they are still treated so wickedly. Slaughtered for so- called "bush meat". Adults killed so their infants can be sold to beach photographers. (Who immediately smash out their teeth so they cannot bite customers). And sold to foreign laboratories for experiments.All the primates- monkeys and apes - can and do suffer at the hands of the cruel and the greedy.
