I had no idea about this particular occurence of events that had occurred in my life time, But it comes as no surprise to me, with all of thebthings that are happening now a days in the world of entertainment, like all of the X -rated productions that seem to be crowding our televisions and movie theatres ..... I have no problem with the free speech amendment, but I DO NOT agree with the types of things that are being put out there for our children to be able to just touch a button and be inundated with the types of programming that the professional’s are allowed to put on the social media ! Kathi Stambaugh, Sen. Joseph McCarthy saw it as a way to make a name for himself. People like Nixon and Kennedy jumped on board. It was just a witch hunt!

Hollywood is full of commies now.

There is a wonderful film about this era, and probably the best Jim Carey movie ever made, THE MAJESTIC. It is not silly or gross, just solid acting, costuming is spot on for the era and the portrayals are on point. I highly recommend this film, if you could not tell.

Kathi Stambaugh, I fully agree with you. Even for myself, I don't like the vulgar language that is used today like every day words such as happy or bad . It's ugly to me. if that makes me a prude , duddy whatever then so be it. language has a beauty to it like anything else in our lives. A painting of black and gray globs of nothing doesn't compare to a painting of a beautiful sunset, spring flowers or children playing .
