There is no reason "The Color Purple" would be out of print. It won a Pulitzer Prize and has entered the realm of the Classic. It will always be in print.

In the making of the colour Purple, Danny Glover broke his ankle after tripping over a stage prop on the set. He was taken to steinberg Hospital, and had his Ankle in a flexible cast for the rest of the filming. A true showman.
