In Disney's animated film "Pinocchio," who serves as Pinocchio's conscience?

Among the songs sung by Cliff Edwards, the voice of Jiminy Cricket, was not only the Academy Award winning “When You Wish Upon a Star”, but also “Always Let Your Conscience Be Your Guide”.

As per usual, Diz Knee makes a movie out of classic children's literature, not only makes the film absolutely amazing and enjoyable, but of course, also makes zillions of $! IDKY I seem to be the only one who is uncomfortable with this fact, maybe it's that I hear nothing at all about the Diz sharing the profits or doing good deeds.
