What color do matadors traditionally use to attract bulls?

that "sport" should have been banned decades ago!! what happens to the bulls injuries, hope and fingers crossed it gets treatment?

In some cities in Spain bull fights are prohibited, also in Mexico. How a matador, will like to be in the middle of the arena, and be tortured? To me those beasts should be suffering like the bull.

It could also be the spears pitched at them that makes them charge?
