What is a common side effect of opioid pain medications?

I am addicted to opioids after being prescribed cocodamol almost 30 years ago. they are called pain killers but they only take the edge off the pain. I live alone and I couldn't cold turkey by myself. I suffer major pain all day every day without pills I wouldn't be able to leave my bed.

Yes safer pain management alternatives - that don’t really work. Wait until you get older and have serious pain then you find out your doctor will not give you adequate pain medication. It’s not fun. Just because some people become addicted easily should not require the rest of the population to suffer unnecessarily . Seriously, we are not living in the 21st-century when it comes to pain management. We’re living in the 15th century. Just wait – you’ll see what I mean.
