This is a good question! But, I have never heard of this fruit. It also sounds horrible to eat so I think I will not think about this any longer.

I have a kaffir lime tree and use the leaves only, finely chopped in Thai green curry. So delicious. I toss the warty limes; they are extremely bitter

I'd only heard of the yuzu, but the fruit in the picture looks like a warty lime.....So!
