Mumski, Me too☺ but I don't get that bit about it being used to stir stews etc too. Never heard of that, although I suppose you could use them for that if you wanted to, but I've got wooden spoons for stews etc. My spurtle is for my Scotts Porage Oats only😁

they are usually engraved, thistles etc, that must be bargain basement one. Hard to get cool ones now.
