Which breakfast cereal is famously advertised with the slogan "They're Gr-r-reat!"?

Myffa, that sounds extreme. But I think Frosted Flakes and other similar cereals given to me for breakfast everyday as a kid was the beginning of my lifelong love of sweets, not very healthy.

Jimmy, That's if they were ever allowed to show them. (See above comment !). The "nanny state " here in the UK wants to treat us all like infants.

Used to be the slogan in the UK but as the health freaks object you dont see that advert, or ones for Coco Pops, etc. Nor can they say "A Mars a day helps you work, rest and play" or that " Guinness is good for you". Just as any pack of more than six sweets has to be prominently labelled "sharing sweets" - in case anyone was _naughty_ enough to plan to eat a whole pack themselves !

Sorry, but that is not a worldwide slogan, how can we know if we live outside the US?

who can forget tony the tiger,when you look back to the early year's at some if not all the old adverts they show you not only the product that been advertised but the way they were dune in them days..I think some of them old adverts should been brought back into the day's society were they would do well,

I enjoyed these as a kid but without the milk .
