What is the primary habitat of the red fox?

Castra, So are urban foxes. They slaughter cats, for no reason.

Beautiful creatures, I used to have them visiting my garden when I lived in Hastings E Sussex. They used to look as if they were playing "patty cake" with my cat. No harm done, but the badgers were a different matter, very dangerous animals.
