What day of the week do most calendars start with?

BonBon, i've had plenty of calendars, and even diaries ( usually advertising businesses) that start the week on Monday.

They don’t call it “the weekend” for no reason. I wish the American calendar would be revised to indicate Monday as the first day of the week and Sunday as the last ….. the ‘day of rest’ and part of ‘the weekend’. It only makes logical sense!

Happy Father’s Day

In the Chinese language, Monday is translated literally as “Day One,” Tuesday as “Day Two,” etc. until Sunday which breaks the pattern and is called “Day (of the) Sun” so calling Sunday the first day of the week is a contradiction in terms to the Chinese!
