We find teeth from them here. My husband found one that was over 6 inches long and fully intact. They're nowhere near any beaches. Pretty impressive teeth!

As of 2 days ago, the new theory is that the great white shark is what brought the megalodon to its end; stated that they met their demise earlier than previously thought, not killed off by a supernova, but likely went extinct about 1 million years before previously thought to have, which would put the extinction at around 3.5 million years ago.

We have a fossilized megalodon tooth that was found in the harbor in Charleston, SC. Apparently lots have been found in that area. I've seen some huge ones on display there.

WilledGazelle9, agreed. My grandma used to say that we shouldn't be exploring outer space but exploring our oceans. 80% of our oceans are so deep or cold that no human has ever seen what is living there! Let's find a way to explore there, not go into neverending space!
