They also had a promo where you could get fuzzy tiger tails to attach to the flap covering your gas cap making it look like there was a tiger in your tank. Lots of teens drove muscle cars with these tiger tails trailing out.

They also gave away Tiger sponges. When my sister and I cleaned out my parents house, we found 2 of them. We laughed so hard and couldn't believe that my parents had kept them!!

I recall back in the early 70's Esso station owners could purchase a faux tigers tail to attach to the door to their cars gas tank!
